Since their introductions in 2013 (FlexTack™) and 2015 (RigidTack™), our epiphysiodesis implants have enjoyed unabated success in providing quick correction of varus/valgus misalignments and leg length discrepancies. They have become a genuine alternative to conventional implant solutions, which were not specifically approved for these purposes. We are continuing to expand our paediatric orthopaedic line—most recently by adding the MC Subtalar II. In Germany alone, around 39% of all schoolchildren between the ages of 10 and 13 have pes planovalgus (flat valgus foot), and the condition is on the rise.
